Fiery five…This is the fifth post and the continuation of my mix match suits series. And what better way to commemorate my fiery fifth post than to indulge in red. This month, my favorite suit fusion was built around the bold, brave and boss red blazer. Majority of the conventional suits are designed as matching colored pants and blazers. Suits generally, solid or patterned, are made with the exact/matching fabric. There are some instances where slight differences in suit separate details help make a suit stand out exquisitely. For instance, blazers with same colored accents (buttons or lapel) typically make suits look regular and understated. While solid-colored blazers with different colored accents is a subtle highlighting tool for styling suits.
Summer is the perfect time for fashionista bosses to pull out bright colored suits and style fiercely (in them). Wearing matching yellow, red or neon suits is a superb way of expressing major summer chicness. And if you’re not one for standing out flamboyantly, there is a way to tone down the vividness of colored suits while still looking chic. Pairing colored blazers/pants with neutrals (like black, khaki or beige) is a more moderate way to demonstrate dazzling summer chicness with suits. A helpful guide for styling colored suit separates is to consider neutral hues that best compliments the bright hue. This week, I wore a well fitted double-breasted blazer with black buttons and complimented it with mostly black separates and accessories.

I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
