There is nothing more fashion-forward than consistently keeping things elegant. The appeal for looking sophisticated is refreshing, universal and never goes out of style…so you can understand why boss ladies (like myself 🙂 ) can’t help but strife for chicness. Nevertheless, not all gal bosses are big on the elegance buzz and there’s nothing absolutely wrong with that. Personally, I’m a skin-deep kind of gal and I appreciate people regardless of whether they are for or against being stylish. The beauty about elegance is that it can be manifested via a multitude of styles and concepts. In essence, creating elegant looks is achievable whether you’re a fan of colors, classics, bohemian, preppy or casual fashion styles.
Dressing with colors (or the lack of it) can be a great way to compose super elegant outfits. As a lover of colorful and color-mute fashion themes, I feel ecstatic about the fact that I can dress elegantly either way. For bright color enthusiasts, the thought of working with muted colors or neutrals can sometimes be perceived as boring. However, there are so many pluses for going neutral. Chic neutral looks have a subtle elegance that I find particularly intriguing and can’t help but adore 🙂 . As a dark skin girl, I typically go for neutral hues like black, grey and beige. Lately, I was compelled to try neutrals other my usual go tos. And this week, I decided to satisfy embrace some neutral sophistication by pairing ivory with khakis.

I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
