How to Look Classic Chic in Culottes

This spring season calls for a major dose of chicness. And an effective way to amp up your chic level in outfits is to go for the classic simple stuff. No one ever went wrong with simple…well I’m yet to, lol. The cool thing about taking on simple fashion is the reward of looking phenomenal without trying too hard and they pretty much work for any budget. Examples of easy chic appeal with classic work styles include suits plus button-down shirts or longline blazers paired with turtleneck blouse and fitted pants. In essence, jackets/blazers are one of the nice to have classic style staples to employ for achieving in vogue and finesse looks.

Pairing blazers with other separates generally results in simply sophisticated attires. Blazers tend to look great when paired with anything from pants, skirts or dresses.  But the most popular way to wear blazers is to combine them with fitted pants. As much as I love the allure of a longline blazer paired with fitted pants, I’m generally inclined to wear blazers with culottes. Culottes are an interesting alternative for modest boss fashionistas to pair with blazers. As a petite gal, I consider culottes as one of my best apparel friends…lol. Earlier this month, I embraced my inner chic by wearing a double-breasted blazer with culottes.
