How to Look Color Fun in Business Casuals

As 9 to 5 female warriors, we women spend over 50% of our week dressed in work clothes. With increasing flexibility in the professional world, more women are trading in the traditional work fashion for a more fashion-forward style fusion. Women‘s work clothes are more colorful, stylish, relaxed, luxurious and eclectic than before. Unlike 15-20 years ago, the workplace has shifted from a strictly two-piece suit paradise to accommodate more colors and relaxed (business casual) styles. For instance, professional clothes for women now exist in forms like colorful prints suitings, bold color separates/dresses, lightweight shirts/separates, relaxed form suitings and denim pants (in certain industries).

With the vast options of clothes available for work, I often admire business casuals. In my opinion,  composing chic casual ensembles generally feels like an easy endeavor. And the amazing thing is that stylish business causal outfits typically give off an effortless allure. Despite my love for the dapper allure of a two-piece suit, I’m sometimes in the mood for vivid looking relaxed silhouettes and I enjoy wearing them to work. Some of my favorite business casual pieces include soft button-down shirts, long-line jackets and culottes. And this week, I opted for a simply vibrant business casual outfit by pairing a rust-colored chiffon blouse with a tapered relax fitted pants from the Uniqlo x Hana Tajima SS 2018 collection.

I’ve included links (highlighted) to available outfit items below the first picture.
