How to Look Fly in Spring Basics

Simplicity exudes class! Dressing luxe can be one of the easiest modes to put together. The neat thing about luxe appeal is the range of expressions you can aspire to create. On one end, luxe styles can give off an effortless and pristine edge and conversely, they can also come across as super (or somewhat) flamboyant. Most of the fashionable outfits I admire in magazines, tv and social media surprisingly consist of the most basic style options. Some of the few classic pieces consistently on my radar include white tee and buttoned-down shirts, polka dots separates, boyfriend jeans, black pumps, smart fit pants, trench jackets, suits, bold accessories and widen leg pants. And if you’re big on basic panache (like me), putting this genre of outfits together can be as easy as pie 🙂

In an attempt to dress simply glam to work this week, I ended up stumbling on a basic luxe look! I chose to use spring essentials to realize my luxe vibe. The most basic style concepts like colors, silhouettes and accessories are significant when coming up with effortless yet splendid looks. Neutral colors like ivory, black, grey and taupe are remarkable examples of basic hues. In addition, bright-colored monochromes are usually high-intensity outfits but they still exude effortless elegance. Basic separates (like button-down shirts & smart pants) make the foundation for composing chic outfits. Layered silhouettes using trench jackets are effective for creating a lavish feel. And lastly, accessories like print scarves and jewelry are great add-ons to help attain lush looks.

I’ve included links (highlighted) to available outfit items below the first picture.
