No doubt dressing in suits generally helps to make me feel somewhat more confident and the typical matching colored blazer and pant/skirt suit is nothing short of top-notch elegance. The fit, structure and appeal of suits are superb and dapper options for any professional gals. But every so often, I feel it will be fun to wear suits in an unconventional manner. Since my job requires that I suit up every now and then, I thought it would be fun to come up with some interesting suit outfit concepts and share one every month.
The recent urge to up my suit game a notch made me embark on some style experimentation. My latest fascination triggered the thought of switching up blazers from one suit and matching them with bottoms from another. Earlier this week, I decided to do some cross-pollinating (yeah…I’m a science geek like that…lol) with one of my favorite old super intense suits. The suit is from Zara’s spring 2017 collection and it comprises of a red double-breasted blazer and fitted pants. I paired the suit blazer with some abstract print pants.
I’ve included links (highlighted) to available outfit items below the first picture.
I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
