How to Wear Uneven Polka Dots

Polka dots are the ‘sugar, spice and everything nice’ of women‘s fashion. They are exemplary for creating playful, vivacious and refreshing style themes for any occasion. Polka dot patterns radiate crisp, edgy and timeless elegance. I can continue describing how delectable polka dots are but I think you already get the gist…polka dots are magnificent! Until recently, I’ve only been lucky to find polka dot clothing with the same size repeated round spots. Lately, I found out that polka dots come in an assortment of fascinating compositions.

This winter, fashion companies (like Asos and Zara) took polka dots to another level by experimenting with dot sizes and mixing patterns i.e. polka dots + florals/stripes (dots & florals & dots & stripes). As much as I’m tempted to indulge in the mix and match trend, I have to settle for something a bit more conservative, like mixed size dots, for work. The typical evenly distributed polka dot pattern is super sassy while its unusual counterpart with varying dot sizes is surely eye-catching. I’d recommend wearing uneven dots with solid colors like the outfit below.
