After turning 25, I stopped taking the day off from work to celebrate my birthday. YES…I do go to work on my birthday, lol. When I was younger, I lived closer to family and it was convenient to take a vacation day to enjoy my Bday with them. Now that I’m a bit older and my family is pretty dispersed, I don’t see the need to celebrate solo on my birthday. And honestly, going to work on my birthday is not as bad as it sounds especially because I have great colleagues that make me feel super awesome on my special day.
Although I changed my birthday celebration routine by going to work, I still maintain the habit of looking absolutely fabulous. So this year I decided to put a dashing spin on my Bday outfit by wearing basic colors and highlighting it with cute elements. I wore a classic black jumpsuit that I got from Topshop (last year) with a white adorable blouse from Zara. What I love about this blouse is its subtle beauty even with bows attached to each sleeve. The bows sure made me stand out like a ‘Showstopper’ on my birthday 😉

I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
