The highlight of this year’s fall fashion theme is bringing outfits to life. And by life, I don’t mean clothes breathing…lol. I’m referring to the pulse, swoosh and hop motions that clothes make as you walk/strut. The most interesting aspect of seeing clothes come to life is movement. For the fall season, runway shows were filled with moving elements like feathers, fur and fringes…the 3 feisty Fs. These elements are the quintessential building blocks of high fashion. Feathers, fur and fringes are pretty dramatic and are commonly used to create vintage, glam and couture runway outfits.
I know that wearing fringes and feathers to work is unpopular as they can be quite over the top for the office. But I was lucky to come across the ideal fringe piece that was suitable to wear to work. I found a subtle fringe blouse in this post (from Zara) and was excited to style it right. So I decided to pair the blouse with matching colored culottes to attain a simply sophisticated look 😉 .
I’ve included links (highlighted) to available outfit items below the first picture.
I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
