One of the biggest struggles of modest fashionistas like myself is finding mainstream fashion companies designing collections that cater to our needs. Companies like H&M, Zara and Mango often claim to make clothes for all ladies, but it seems like they tend to ignore the demand for modest stylish clothing. On a positive note, companies like Uniqlo are taking the initiative to meet the demands of modest fashion lovers…Yaaayyyyy! In 2015, Uniqlo partnered with the fabulous Muslim fashion blogger, Hana Tajima, to design seasonal chic modest women‘s wear in select Singapore stores. And recently, the demand for the Hana Tajima collection has grown and is now being sold in UK and US stores.
The latest (fall) Hana Tajima collection is now available at Uniqlo (online and select stores). This collection has great pieces to create not just stylish modest ensembles but also gorgeous minimalist looks. I got the jacket and skirt in this post from the fall collection and they sure look lovely to style to work.
Okay! Okay!! I know it seems a bit too early to be featuring fall pieces on the blog, but I felt it was necessary to share this now especially because this collection is selling out FAST…and besides, summer is almost over, lol. So if you are a fashionista in dire need of modest/minimalist clothing, you need to visit Uniqlo…like yesterday 😉
I’ve included links (highlighted) to available outfit items below the first picture.
You’d understand why I’m all excited about this skirt from Uniqlo if you read my previous post (link),

I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
