Long skirts are one of my favorite style essentials. As much as I love wearing long skirts, it’s very tasking to find chic and work appropriate ones. Consequently, I usually end up going for maxi skirt alternatives like culottes or palazzo pants. I ADORE how palazzo pants flow but the problem I have with them is that they are usually cut too long for me. And I prefer not to wear extra long pants/skirts to work cos they get in my way, thereby making it difficult to walk. And seriously, ain’t nobody got time to almost trip over pants/skirts in the office 😉 .
On a positive note, I managed to find an alternative solution to wearing palazzo pants to work. I came across a cropped pair of red-hot palazzo pants (pictures below) from Zara earlier this month. And I remember being skeptical of how it would fit while ordering online. But to my amusement, the pants fit awesome and it flows similarly to a skirt. Interestingly, the pant length is just right and it gives enough room to display my pretty shoes 🙂 . So this week, I went for a classic fusion by wearing this pants with a polka dot top and pearl-heeled moccasins.
