Mirror Mirror – Savvy Stripes

I’m not fond of wearing stripes to work. Most of the striped separatesĀ I own are plain long sleeve button down shirts. That being said, I love striped wide leg pants especially because they are uber chic and versatile to style. But I haven’t been lucky finding one in my size šŸ™ .Ā Back to my experience with striped shirts, I typically find them straight out boring. However, this summer definitely changed my mind as I’veĀ been lucky to find a lot of stylish shirtĀ options. So one of my favoriteĀ style trend this summer is the dramaticĀ sleeves i.e. bell, ruffles, puffy and tieredĀ sleeves. Imagine my excitement when I came across a striped shirt (in this post) with head turning sleeves from Zara.Ā I couldn’t wait to wear it work and share fun pictures of it below. Enjoy! šŸ™‚

FYI…the shirt in this post is sold out šŸ™ but I’ve included aĀ shirt that you can style in a similar manner from Zara.

Iā€™ve included links (highlighted in red) to available outfit items in the pictures below.

The off shoulder neck design of this shirt is just so divine šŸ˜‰

For ladies like myself who are not comfortable revealing their neckline, you can layer with a crew neck t-shirt and still look chic in this shirt.

It’s summer so let the sun radiate through you, even in your outfit šŸ™‚ …lol

The icing on the cake for this outfit is my print scarf…it sure adds some edge to this look.

I couldn’t resist wearing this unusuallyĀ chic striped shirt to work. Would you dare to rock a similar shirt toĀ the office? Please share your responses in the comment section.

  1. Yes I would, I do not own a striped shirt but with this thoughts and illustration I definitely will get one.
