I’m not fond of wearing stripes to work. Most of the striped separates I own are plain long sleeve button down shirts. That being said, I love striped wide leg pants especially because they are uber chic and versatile to style. But I haven’t been lucky finding one in my size 🙁 . Back to my experience with striped shirts, I typically find them straight out boring. However, this summer definitely changed my mind as I’ve been lucky to find a lot of stylish shirt options. So one of my favorite style trend this summer is the dramatic sleeves i.e. bell, ruffles, puffy and tiered sleeves. Imagine my excitement when I came across a striped shirt (in this post) with head turning sleeves from Zara. I couldn’t wait to wear it work and share fun pictures of it below. Enjoy! 🙂
FYI…the shirt in this post is sold out 🙁 but I’ve included a shirt that you can style in a similar manner from Zara.
I’ve included links (highlighted in red) to available outfit items in the pictures below.
The off shoulder neck design of this shirt is just so divine 😉
For ladies like myself who are not comfortable revealing their neckline, you can layer with a crew neck t-shirt and still look chic in this shirt.
It’s summer so let the sun radiate through you, even in your outfit 🙂 …lol
The icing on the cake for this outfit is my print scarf…it sure adds some edge to this look.
I couldn’t resist wearing this unusually chic striped shirt to work. Would you dare to rock a similar shirt to the office? Please share your responses in the comment section.
I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
