Mirror Mirror – Petite Solutions

Are you 5’4′ or shorter but love wearing long wide leg pants? Do you have a tough time finding wide leg pants that are not too long? Are you fed up of wearing long length pants that almost make you trip over? Well, this post is for you.

I am a sucker for tower long wide leg pants. I love the way long pants flow and how they give the illusion of extra height. I love that they look particularly exquisite for formal and even casual affairs. But when it comes to the office, I prefer wearing pants that are not too long. My philosophy about work clothes is that it should be stylish, comfortable and not get in my way (although I sometimes defer from keeping to the comfort part…lol). So you can imagine how excited I was when I came across culottes as an alternative to long pants. Culottes are stylish cropped pants. Being a petite queen, I like the option of wearing wide leg pants that are not too long. And I love that culottes give me the chic flowing fit that I adore while being able to flaunt my shoes 😉 .

If you’re interested in strutting in culottes, Zara and Topshop have a great selection of them.

I’ve included links (highlighted in red) to available outfit items in the picture below.

BTW…All items in this picture are on SALE!!!

Speaking of summer shoe trends, culottes look great with mules.

Pastel pink and navy blue…match made in hue heaven 🙂 !!!

For working gals that love to meet up for after work hour gatherings, culottes are a great day-to-night style staple.

Color block! Color block!! Sweet color block!!! 🙂

This culotte sure looks å la mode with long/longline jackets.

Being that I am a lover of beautiful shoes, I love the fact that culottes don’t hide my foot candies.

I’d like to hear what you like about styling culottes as opposed to regular/tower length pants. Please share your thoughts in the comment section.
