This post is long due but I guess it’s better late than never, right? 🙂
One interesting spring trend I’ve been dabbling with is burgundy paired with pale pink. I love reds but I often tend to go for darker shades when dressing for work. I usually pair darker reds with cream or tan-colored separates. Recently, I decided to put a spin on pink/burgundy match by going for a business casual look with neon-like rather than pale pink. To pull the look together in a subtle fashion, I decided to go for purple accessories. I wasn’t sure what to expect with these two colors as I’d never tried them before but to my surprise, they gave rise to sweet color block look that I adore.
As much as I like this oversized shirt, the one caveat I have to mention is that it’s not easy to smooth out lines when ironing.
Buttoned-up for success 😉
This eye candy from Zara is available in pink!
That scarf is something. I got it from my mom…you can tell who I got my style genes from…lol.
Strut to work with some burgundy & pink and let me know how you liked it in the comment section.
I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
