Floral prints paired with stripes are trending big this spring. As interesting as this trend seems, I think it’s a little too much for the office…lol. When it comes to styling patterns for work, I’m an either or kind of gal. I usually like to match prints or stripped clothing with solids. That being said, I ADORE the different bright colors that constitute floral prints and I was in the mood to make it work for the office this week. One of my favorite style tip is using bright colors to highlight neutral outfits. And since green is my favorite color, I decided to put it to the test.
Zara has a great selection of vivid green separates and accessories this spring.
I’ve included links (highlighted in red) to available items in the pictures below .

Grey is the perfect canvas for bright-colored accessories like green, pink, red, yellow, blue, purple…in short, any vivid color can look striking with grey.
If you’d like to further stand out in grey/neutrals, try accessorizing with different shades of green (or your favorite bright color).
Blouse – HM Jacket – Zara Pants – Zara (similar)
From my old posts, you can tell that I have an obsession for pairing this green jacket with prints (example 1 and example 2)…lol. Speaking of prints, this animal print blouse from HM is so edgy and versatile. I got it for less than $20 and it’s definitely going to be one of my go-to basic separate for work.
So I’ve given you a sneak peek of how I glitter in green but I’d also like to know how you style with green (share your feedback in the comment section).
I’m a project manager by day and a fashionista/style enthusiast always. I have a diverse range of contradictory interests…fashion vs activism, ice cream cake vs spinach salad…but I love & proudly embrace them all.
